2nd stage of the Remtal cycle path in Baden-Württemberg.
On the second stage, the route mostly follows the Rems upstream. It is possible hop on the S-Bahn at each stage location.
Starting at the Schwaneninsel in Waiblingen, the route leads through the picturesque floodplain towards Schorndorf. Without passing through, the route passes Beinstein and crosses a river landscape characterised by fruit growing. Wooded hills line the landscape.
At the end of Endersbach, a large beer garden in a marvellous landscape beckons to take a break. Gardens alternate with orchards. The route is varied, partly along the road, through a bird sanctuary until the stage ends in the pretty Daimler town of Schorndorf.
