This route is a certified premium hiking trail that enchants with fantastic views of the Hegau and as far as Lake Constance. The Stetten Panorama Trail leads hikers to the summit of the highest Hegau volcano, the 867 m high "Neuhewen", where the castle of the same name can be found. This highest castle complex in the Hegau is popularly known as the "Stettener Schlössle" and is unfortunately not open to the public for safety reasons. You can arrive by bus or train (bus from Engen-Stetten train station) and there are refreshment stops right at the starting point. Those who prefer to bring their own provisions can, for example, take a break at the idyllic barbecue area at the playground on Südtraufweg.
