Impressive, certified premium hiking trail in Hegau near Lake Constance, Baden-Württemberg. The hike on the old post path is part of the Hegau Kegelspiel and impresses above all with its beautiful views over the Hegau Kegelspiel landscape all the way to the Alps. The Old Post Trail, which was already used by messengers in 1561, partly on foot and partly on horseback, leads along green fields, rare rough pastures and beautiful juniper heaths. The Postweg is also part of the local Natura2000 protected area and at the right time of year, many sheep can be seen here, responsible for the extensive care of the rough pastures. In summer there is little shade along the way. It is not possible to stop for refreshments along the way. Start at the Alter Postweg car park. Highlights of the hike: - Bisberg panorama - Fantastic views as far as the Alps - Viewpoint Napoleonseck
