The varied route runs through forests along the pastures of the Fohlenhof farm and across broad meadows. The trail also impresses with breathtaking views from the Hohe Warte tower, which extends far across the Swabian Alb and down into the Erms Valley with its orchards and colorful vineyards. On a clear day, the view can go to the Neckar valley, as far as the Stuttgart television tower and even the imposing Alps, passing part of the Rossberg nature reserve with its unique flora and fauna. The route leads through a beautiful beech forest to another great viewpoint - the Sonnenfels.
