Beautiful forest hike in the Black Forest Central/North Nature Park.
It starts in Calw at the edge of the forest: this small but fine route leads along the Welzbergweg and the Wackelsteinweg. On the first, first at ground level until just before the Welzberghütte, then keep right and a short climb follows. After crossing the magnificent forest, you come out at the top of the sheep barn and return to the starting point between fields and meadows. Accessible by bus and train. There are places to stop for refreshments further along the route.
