Most of the route offers great views over the extensive landscape. The route begins and ends at Heiligenstadt train station.

Versatile mountain bike route in the Eichsfeld - Hainich - Werratal nature park. From the train station, head east out of the city, whereupon an ascent into the magnificent hill forest follows. On beautiful paths it now goes through the dense green to Curt's mill. Then it goes on into the Heiligenstadt city forest, where you will find beautiful vantage points and an idyllic forest world.
