Charming circular hike around Hornesselwiese, Rhineland-Palatinate. This idyllic circular trail starts at Hornesselwiese and runs along the Grobsbach stream through Stilles Tal in a southerly direction. From the hiking car park "Drei Buchen" near Ramberg on the Drei Burgenweg past the ruins "Meistersel", with a big swing to the ruins "Ramburg" and down into the valley to Ramberg and Dernbach. Back up past the Dernbacher house and on to the Landauer hut. From there to the ruin "Neu Scharfeneck" and back to the hiking car park "Drei Buchen".

Varied circular route at the Helmbachweiher, Rhineland-Palatinate. This circular route begins at the car park of the beautiful Helmbach pond. This is a popular bathing lake with crystal clear water. There is also a Kneipp facility there, which can be used at the end of the hike. It is easy but steady uphill to the Schänzelturm via idyllic forest paths.
