The trail lies between Havixbeck and Münster and crosses a landscape of open meadows and historic estates. The ground conditions include flat, asphalted surfaces and occasional paved earth surfaces through wooded areas. Hilly terrain is minimal and characterized by the gentle topography of the Baumberge foothills. Native hedgerows and farmland line the route between the cultural sites. Windproof clothing is appropriate for the exposed rural sections between Roxel and Havixbeck.

Very nice - but also partly demanding - route to Münster. At the beginning you go through many forests with some manageable inclines - but always on bike paths. You pass Tilbeck Abbey, with a very nice cafe. The route is best to drive in dry weather. At the start in Billerbeck you can park for free at the train station.
