This route explores the eastern Teutoberg Forest (LP Bielefeld-Ost). It starts in Brackwede and leads straight into the forest. It leads past many mountain peaks in the forest, including the Käseberg, the Rosenberg, the Lamberg, the Habichtsberg and the Butenberg. All mountains are between 200 and 300 meters high.

This trail leads through the dense Teutoburg Forest, climbing from the historic promenade of the Kasinogarten near Bielefeld up toward the Habichtshöhe. Shaded forest paths pass near the ancient ramparts of the Hünenburg, where early medieval fortifications once stood on the mountain ridge.
