Best trails near Kleiner Hauxkopf

Strenuous hike in the Harz National Park. There are parking spaces at the starting point in Silkerode. The hike leads north, first across wide fields to Bad Lauterberg and then through the foothills of the Harz mountains to the Oder dam and along the river from time to time.
