Best trails near Mühlental

Very nice excursion that leads from Schaffhausen to the Rhine Falls. It starts at the train station and then continues along the Rhine to the waterfalls. One can stay there for a while and then walk back via Flurlingen on the opposite bank of the river. The path always follows the water and there are some historical buildings along the way, such as the Laufen Castle which is nice to see.

Beautiful hike which goes along the Rhine river. The highlight is the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, where you can walk along the Rhine. This waterfall is one of the three largest waterfalls in Europe and is really great. The trail leads through Neuhausen and then it goes on to Schaffhausen.

The start of this route is about 1 kilometer from the city center of Schaffhausen. This city is located on the Upper Rhine and is located in a wine-growing region near the German border. If you walk in the center, enjoy the fantastic old town. The path goes in the direction of the beautiful Geissbergwald behind the canton hospital. The way back to the forest goes along the Durach river.
