Makes a good day hike after arriving in the area before going to the serious game parks, or gives you a nice one day warm-up before tackling Kilimanjaro or Meru on longer multi-day hikes. You will need to register at the entrance and take a ranger with you for a 20-40 dollar fee (which seems to vary on the day) but the price is more than worth it.
