Best trails in Åsnen National Park
Åsnen National Park is 1,873 hectares in size and is located in Alvesta and Tingsryd municipalities, adjacent to Växjö municipality. 75% of its surface area consists of water, making it an ideal place to experience wilderness and explore a diverse plant and animal life.
Visitors can also enjoy the park's unique landscape, including the old beech forest, the archipelago lake and its many islands and skerries.
In addition, the forest at Bjurkärr (located at the Sunnabron entrance) is particularly special due to its old, untouched primeval forest-like quality and rich variety of lichens, fungi and living insects.
