Best trails in Mudeungsan National Park
Mudeungsan National Park is named after Mudeungsan Mountain and features three rock peaks known as the 'Jeongsan Three.' These three peaks are Jiwangbong, Cheonwangbong, and Inwangbong. In the past, locals would visit and worship Cheongwangbong as it was known to be a god's mountain. The park is absolutely gorgeous during the autumn, when the leaves change, or during winter, when snow encompasses the peaks. It is also home to a multitude of wildlife and flora such as flying squirrels and otters! At the bottom of the mountain, visitors can check out the different temples and Gwangju National Museum, which exhibits a variety of artifacts and ancient treasures.
