Ytre Hvaler National Park, Norway's first marine national park, spans 354 km² along the coastline and archipelago, with an impressive 96% of its area submerged underwater. The park is home to diverse habitats, including steep cliffs, kelp forests, and seagrass meadows, all teeming with marine life. Notable among its features is the Tisler coral reef, one of the longest inner reef coral systems globally, extending over 1,200 meters. This rich marine ecosystem supports various species, such as fish, shellfish, and other aquatic life.
