Kerinci Seblat National Park is the largest national park in Sumatra, Indonesia. This park is a combination of rainforest, swamps, sub-alpine, and lakes. This park features Mount Kerinci, the largest and tallest active volcano. Visitors can challenge the trek towards the peak, note that you will occasionally have to rock climb. There is only one climbing route to Mount Kerinci, namely through Kersik Tuo. This path is known to be quite challenging for climbers.
It is recommended to be careful through this route because it is in a protected forest area and there are still many wild animals such as tigers and honey bears.
The path will continue to climb to the top and there are many large rocks, it is not recommended to come here during the rainy season because the path becomes muddy and slippery.
