In the year 2007, this park was also awarded for being the best maintained National Park in the country. This park lies in a very unique biosphere as it lies in an area that has two different types of forests, Tropical and subtropical dry broadleaf forests belt and the Upper Gangetic Plains moist deciduous forests.
