This spectacular park lies in Madhya Pradesh, nearby Shivpuri. It lies in the Vindhyan Hills of Central India. This oasis lies in between the rocky unforgiving terrain with the Kuno River that flows right in between the park that has seen and has helped this park flourish from time unknown. This park was established in the year 1981 and was selected as the Asiatic Lion Reintroduction location in the year 1990, although they haven't been reintroduced yet but instead, Cheetahs have been reintroduced and are in the early stages of reintroduction. Between the years 1998 and 2003, inhabitants of 24 villages were shifted outside the premises of the park. This park is highly biodiverse with many indigenous species living in the park, some of the species that reside in the park are the Indian leopard, jungle cat, sloth bear, dhole, Indian wolf, golden jackal, striped hyena, and the keystone species cheetah. Apart from animals, this park is pretty rich in diversity as well then be it in terms of plants and birds.
