Best easy trails in Hütten Hills Nature Park
At 21,967 hectares, the Hüttener Berge Nature Park is the smallest nature park in Schleswig-Holstein. The terminal moraines of the Hüttener Berge were created by the Ice Age and offer animals, plants and people a varied landscape in the Eckernförde - Rendsburg - Schleswig triangle. The Weichselian glacial created large and small lakes, moors and hills and repeatedly scattered large and small stones across the landscape. But people have also shaped their surroundings: the typical Knicks - hedgerows along fields and paths - give the region an unmistakable appearance and provide a unique habitat for many plants and animals. You can go hiking, cycling and horse riding in the nature park.
