The Siebengebirge Nature Park was founded as the first nature park in North Rhine-Westphalia and is located in the south of the federal state. The nature park encompasses the Cologne Bay, Siebengebirge, Leiser Hügelland, Rheinwesterwälder Vulkanrücken and Asbacher Hochfläche nature areas.

The Siebengebirge Nature Park offers a variety of natural and landscape areas that can be discovered on many hikes. The volcanic landscape is interspersed with quarries, vineyards and orchards.
