Best trail running trails in Diemelsee Nature Park

This is a relatively easy route in the Diemelsee Nature Park. It begins near the pier and leads via the Am Fresenberg road to the Waldroute hiking trail, which leads up to the Buttenberg. Then it goes down to Helminghausen and back to the starting point. Of course, there are also beautiful views of the lake here.

From Marsberg you can find a natural round tour through the nature reserve Forst Bredelar / Obermarsberger Wald, which is part of the fauna-flora-habitat area Bredelar, Marsberg city forest and Fürstenberger forest. There are still old beech forests, a multitude of smaller and larger natural streams and birds such as the rough owl, the red kite or the black stork.
