Best walking trails in Steigerwald Nature Park
The Steigerwald Nature Park is the heart of the Franconian Keuperland. It begins in the Haßberge mountains in the north and extends to the Franconian heights in the south. In total, the nature park covers a good 129,000 hectares and stretches across six districts. Outstanding forest stands, special features such as the middle forest or hute forest management, but also floodplains or dry and nutrient-poor grassland areas form the habitat for a special diversity of species.
