Forstenrieder Park is a large wooded area located southwest of Munich. It covers an area of 37 km². Together with Forst Kasten and Fürstenrieder Wald, it forms a landscape conservation area that was formerly used as a hunting ground by the nobility and the Wittelsbach sovereigns.
