An easy loop that starts at Mogo Campsite and visits the fourth-oldest bridge in Australia, Circuit Flat Bridge, which was built by convicts in 1831. The track is easy to follow and passes through coastal heath and dry sclerophyll forest, there is an abundance of birdlife and if lucky you'll see the distinctive turquoise parrots.
There are many other walking routes in the park both shorter and longer to explore as well.

Starts from the Truckers Memorial on Old Putty Rd at Millbrodale. Short dirt road to Baiame Cave, then a steep climb up to Yengo National Park. Well worth persevering for the climb up as it is an awesome ride on great track.
Track is all through sandstone country and well drained. Out and back ride or very long walk. If you want to do it one way get dropped at the Telstra tower on Old Putty Rd and ride/walk back towards Bulga.

This is an off-trail bushwalk. The entire route is along the bed of the Howes Valley Creek and Macdonald River (except for a short section along the main road linking the start and end points of the walk). Most of the route is sandy creek walking, with the occasional small waterfall / cascade and boulders. There are plenty of camping spots along the river.

Trail reviews for Yengo National Park
This is not to be underestimated, the sand on the bed of the river slows you down and can open up and swallow your whole leg, we were dragging each other out of the sand multiple times and it takes its toll. That said, it's an incredible walk. You can add another day like we did by scrambling up yokey creek to yokey trail and on to the base of Mt Yengo.
