Trail reviews for Washpool National Park
Enjoyable trail. I walked it anticlockwise doing the whole washpool walk. But considering most of the sights are all along one stretch; you can easily do the trail clockwise to the falls and turn back the way you came. It would halve the km you’d have to walk to see the falls. Trail itself is extremely wet and muddy and a tad overgrown with branches and trees down; though national parks has cleared most obstacles. If you’re not a fan of leech therapy like me, apply insect repellent liberally; all the bloodsuckers were out today. Creek and falls were absolutely pumping at the moment with all this rainfall, great for viewing and photography. A very lovely trail, a must do if in the region.
