This walk starts in a car park at the headland of Saltwater. it has a short section along the quiet road before turning in into the bush. It is an easy track in general with a few rougher sections along the way. The landscape is a mix of rainforests, mangroves, and wetlands. You can also see middens and fish traps beside the estuary.
You can connect this with the Headland Walking Track that leaves from the same car park.

The path begins from Saltwater Road where there is a large car park. From there it heads into the bush following Saltwater Walking Track, Palmers Trail, and Metz Road to name a few. The route returns via Wallabi Beach, a great place to dip your toes, enjoy the rock pools, and rest on the sand.
