Easy to parkNot crowdedGreat conditionsGreat views

Did this walk over 3 days. Stunning views, beautiful beaches. Some beach walking but not difficult. Recommend walking around low tide and not rough seas as there are a few rock platforms to cross can be slippery, not many thou. Lots of ticks! Take repellent esp if sitting or camping on the ground. We braved the Durras Lake crossing, stay right out in the mouth- little waves area, had a kind local man pre-walk it for us, was thigh deep 11/5/25 an hour off low tide. Could have tried up further onto the creek -water looked calm and low but was told it was very sinky soft sand, crossing was easy enough if u don’t mind getting wet, stopped at Murramarang resort for the night. Great facilities, 2nd night at Oakes Beach - camp ground full of mozi, no water but toilets available platforms are good. Would definitely recommend this hike, and light packs for the long days.

The Murramarang Coastal walk is an excellent track and suitable for someone with limited long distance walking experience. Carry water and snacks and enjoy great views and forest lands

Not a great view. The trail was well maintained, challengingly steep, and there was a decent view to the west at one point. But the summit was not a great view due to trees. For us, it wasn’t worth the detour off the murramarang coast walk.

Trail actually starts out with 1 pm on beach before you can take the Murramarang coast walk around some rocky headlands. It does go back to the beach for stretches too. Only went half way to Snake bay. Upland trail has good stairs and some raised grid sections

Walked Pebbly Beach to North Durras Beach in Murramarang NP , along coastal platforms, beaches and hiking trails. Did the Depot Beach Rainforest walk on way through. Unable to walk the platforms from Depot to North Durras beaches although low tied income swell was very high at time of walking so detoured over Burrawang Walking Track. A great walk with great scenery.
