This is a great day trip on mostly fire trails out to Goonengerry Waterfall where the national park gets its name from. The tracks can be soggy during wet season so good footwear is recommended.
Along the loop you are treated to lush native bush and some great views as you peak through the forest. Goonengerry is a small park at just over 500 hectares and is relatively sparse with visitors. For this reason, it isn't very well marked so keep an eye on your map as you make your way.
