Georges River National Park is located in south–western Sydney, New South Wales. As the name suggests, it was established along the Georges River. Its landscape consists of rock formations, mountains covered in forests and plateaus that are home to many animals including hundreds of bird species. It is a great place to hike, fish, boat, jet ski and watch birds.

The trail is accessible from the end of Amberdale Avenue or Karen Avenue, as well as just off Henry Lawson Drive. You'll follow the ridge line above the Georges River and pass by the Yeramba Lagoon. There are plenty of complimentary trails found in this area if you wish to extend your trip.
