The track is most easily accessed from Barokee campground. Follow the circuit clockwise and hike through sub-alpine woodland to the summit turnoff.
At the posted turnoff, you then hike up Cathedral Rock to sit on a natural throne, perched on 200m of stacked boulders. Rock-hopping is the scientific term for what you’ll be doing for much of the next 400m as you clamber over boulders and straddle crevices.

This is the longer route to get to Cathedral Rock, but is also a great day walk in its own right. It is near Ebor, New South Wales.
This trail which is moderate and through sub-alpine woodland for the vast majority of it. The harder sections are near the end at the rock with a 300 metre climb to Woolpack peak and a 500 metre climb to Cathedral Rock summit.

This is a magnificent adventure in a land of giant boulders. This bushwalk in Cathedral Rock National Park takes you through the forest to the base of a massive granite tor. The final climb to the summit is a real challenge, where you'll have to squeeze through gaps and use chains to pull yourself up the last rock slab. Once at the top, you'll be treated to spectacular 360-degree views. Parking and public toilets are available at Barokee Campground, where the journey begins.
