Bungonia National Park is located close to Canberra in New South Wales on the land of the Njunawal. It consists of mountains and valleys covered in forests, caves, gorges and canyons. It is known as the "adventure capital of the Southern Tablelands", it is the perfect place to hike, climb and canyon. Flora in the park consists of white gum, grass trees red stringybark, black ash, eucalyptus and snow gum. It is home to cockatoos, butcher birds, miners, hooded robins, kookaburra, monitor lizards, echidnas, wombats, wallabies, and a small number of koalas.
