This route follows the Hind Dune Trail to Salty Lagoon. After the Death Adder trailhead, turn left towards the bee boxes and the beach (as you’ll run out of track if you keep heading straight).
The return route is along the beach. At times, it could be busy with 4WD’s. Perhaps coming at high tide is best, as the 4WDs can’t make it through then. Make sure to stay off the dunes and respect the shorebirds! Keep an eye out for white-bellied sea eagles, Brahminy kites, and oystercatchers.
