A short walk to a very beautiful (but busy) beach and lookout at Governors Head with great views across to Bowen Island, followed by an extended loop along Murrays Trail. Access is well-marked from the car park. If you want to detour down to the beach or follow the coastline around off-trail, note that some rock scrambling is required especially at high tide and some sections may be impassable.

A well signed-posted, rough 4WD track is followed to the ridge just above the beach. From there, you'll follow a steep and narrow descent to the picturesque Steamers Beach. The beach is an unpatrolled surf beach that may have large waves depending on prevailing winds. Return the same way, or head towards Brooks Lookout to complete a partial circuit.

Easy short walk down to the beautiful caves beach, that has one of the best campgrounds in the park as you have to walk in with gear.
The caves are pretty small but easy to find. The wildlife here is pretty spectacular. Roos are in the camp ground and if luck you may see an Echidna on the bush tracks.

Trail reviews for Booderee National Park
The sealed road sections feel a bit dangerous with all the cars and no bike lane. Really enjoyed the firetrail along the coast and inland. Some huge hills. A great way to see the highlights of northern Booderee NP, including Scottish Rocks and Murray’s Beach.
