Panoramic hike in the Southern Harz Nature Park, Thuringia. The Poppenberg is a 600 m high mountain in the Harz Mountains. At the summit is the 33 m high observation tower "Poppenbergturm", from which there are great views over the forested mountain ranges of the southern Harz Mountains. Osterode near Neustadt / Harz, Bornrasen -> Grossmutteracker -> Helmstieg -> Knippelweg, direction Tischen and Hufhaus -> shortly before the table, sharp right towards Neustadt -> Thiergarten -> at the campsite to the right towards Ilfeld -> shortly afterwards to the left in the direction of Osterode -> Bornrasen
