Best moderate trails in Plauen

This is a nice little hike with many highlights in the area. It starts with crossing the Nymphental, which runs along the Kaltenbach. At the Teufelskanzel, the path turns left and leads to the magnificent Elstertalbrücke, an aqueduct from the 19th century. The path then makes a loop through the forest, visits the Julius Mosen Tower and offers beautiful vantage points. Finally it reaches the White Elster and leads back to the Teufelskanzel. There the path leads left back to the starting point.

Beautiful city walk through and around Plauen, Saxony. The circular route is a beautiful hike in and around Plaue. Through the Reichenbacher Vorstadt, the path leads mostly along the Weißen Elster through Alt Chrieschwitz to the forest area near the Reißig industrial park.
