Best hard trails in Arnsdorf

Beautiful racing bike or touring bike route to "Weesenstein Castle" with a tour character.

The route leads through forest and farm roads. The asphalt content is rather low. There are 3 smaller single trails along the Wesenitz. "Brave" can try it with the touring bike, but should then be prepared for pushing passages. In terms of landscape, it goes through the forest area of the Massenei, along the Wesenitz and through the Karswald. Stolpen Castle can be seen near Rennersdorf. The highest points are the Großer Stern and the Tanneberg at 301 m.

Bicycle or racing bike lap that should be ridden clockwise. The highlight is the beautiful Elbe valley between Bad Schandau and Wehlen. There are wonderful views of Lilienstein and Königstein. ATTENTION ROAD BICYCLE DRIVERS: There is no fixed cycle path between Königstein and Rathen on the right bank of the Elbe. Initially just a beaten path, later a forest path. If that is too risky for you, you can alternatively take the ferry to the left bank of the Elbe in Königstein, then take the cycle...

The route is on well-developed forest and farm roads. At Pulsnitz the route leads approx. 200 m over a field. At the foot of the Keulenberg, the left path towards "Keulenberstrasse" is easier to drive. ATTENTION ! Those who are not versed in downhill (touring bikes!) Should also use this path on the return journey, because on the descent from the mountain, the route leads over a short but steep, stony trail that is not suitable for inexperienced downhill skiers!
