Best trails in Arnsdorf

Popular and promising mountain bike tour near Arnsdorf, Saxony. The MTB tour starts in Arnsdorf and mostly leads over beautiful forest and farm roads as well as some single trails. There is a total of almost 400 vertical meters to overcome, with the ascent to the "Breite Stein" being the most strenuous. On forest and farm roads from Arnsdorf over the Tanneberg, Massenei, Bretnig-Hauswalde, to the Buschmühlenteich (bath). The route has very little asphalt, is GPS recorded and suitable for MTB.

The route is on well-developed forest and farm roads. At Pulsnitz the route leads approx. 200 m over a field. At the foot of the Keulenberg, the left path towards "Keulenberstrasse" is easier to drive. ATTENTION ! Those who are not versed in downhill (touring bikes!) Should also use this path on the return journey, because on the descent from the mountain, the route leads over a short but steep, stony trail that is not suitable for inexperienced downhill skiers!

The route leads through forest and farm roads. The asphalt content is rather low. There are 3 smaller single trails along the Wesenitz. "Brave" can try it with the touring bike, but should then be prepared for pushing passages. In terms of landscape, it goes through the forest area of the Massenei, along the Wesenitz and through the Karswald. Stolpen Castle can be seen near Rennersdorf. The highest points are the Großer Stern and the Tanneberg at 301 m.
