Stage 6 of the Unstrut cycle path. The last section of the Unstrut Cycle Path starts in beautiful Nebra and leads through numerous nature reserves and along imposing palaces and fortresses such as Altenburg, Burgscheidungen Castle and Vitzenburg Castle via Freyburg to Naumburg. Here the Unstrut flows into the Saale and thus the end of the long-distance cycle path is reached. Interesting loop in the Saale-Unstrut-Triasland Nature Park, Saxony-Anhalt. Start is in Kleinwangen, at the railway station "Wangen (Unstrut)". The route continues eastwards through the forest to Nebra. The country town became famous through the discovery of the "Nebra Sky Disc", a bronze and golden disc that depicts the sky and is from the bronze age. Later, the route runs parallel to the beautiful Unstrut river. The quarries along the way are interesting before returning via Wangen....
