This route is stage 1 of the Aller-Radweg, connecting Eggenstedt with Oebisfelde in Germany. Starting at the Aller source in Eggenstedt, the path follows well-maintained tracks through the Magdeburger Börde past the regional museum at Burg Ummendorf. This cycle path starts in Wanzleben and leads to Magdeburg and the Elbe. It is relatively flat and leads through fields, farms and towns. It runs through Langenweddingen, Osterweddingen, Dodendorf, Soles, Beyendorf and then reaches the southern tip of Magdeburg in Salbke. It turns north, passes Lake Salbke and then heads west back to Wanzleben.
