Starting in the small village of Eusserthal, this route leads through the Palatinate Forest and over high hills and the picturesque villages of Graefenhausen and Annweiler. It ends shortly before Trifels Castle, an impressive red sandstone castle from the 11th century.

Comfortable circular route in the Palatinate Forest Nature Park near Eusserthal. The short loop trail starts at the Steigstraße hiking car park, which is about 3 km before Taubensuhl and can be identified by a hiking sign. After a short stretch along the country road, the route leads along the deer path to a crossroads, where it turns right and finally leads back to the starting point via lonely forest paths.
