Best bird watching trails in Münster

Nature-oriented cycle tour in the north-east of Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia. The tour starts at Münster (Westphalia) main station. The highlight of this tour is the European bird sanctuary Rieselfelder Münster, a large wetland biotope. The route there leads along the Wienburgpark. Bike tour from MS-Ost on quiet paths, along the Werse, to the waterworks in the Hohe Ward. Here empty water bottles and dry throats can be filled with water. Continue over the free chair in the Hohen Ward (see memorial stone in the photo) to the canal. The path on this section can be very sandy in places. Via Schmitz Kühlken in Gremmendorf, away from the main roads, back to Münster Ost.
