This route begins at the parking lot on Wilhelm-Münker-Strasse, which is in the north of Hilchenbach near the Hotel am Sonnenhang. The route heads north into the forest, forming a relatively small loop. On the way back, it runs parallel to the Langebfelder Bach. The route is within the boundaries of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park.
