Best bike touring trails in Dinslaken

This route starts at Hof Emschermündung, where the Rhine and Emscher meet (although the hike can also be started closer to Dinslaken if that is easier). It follows the Emscher for a while, then turns south and meets the Hoag route, which runs near the Rhine. It then heads north and crosses the north port of Walsum.

The route goes via Voerde and Friedrichsfeld and not along the B8, except for the last part past the Lippeschlösschen. Originally it was supposed to be a circular route, unfortunately the Lippe ferry was not yet operational. Bicycle and forest paths are used.
