Best moderate trails in Billerbeck

Nice round trip from Billerbeck via Gut Holtmann (from here you go through a forest with paved forest paths) via Nottuln (very nice place with many opportunities to rest) back to Billerbeck

The official route of the Vechtetalradweg leads over 42 kilometers from Darfeld to Wettringen. This section is therefore part of this route, which begins at Billerbeck station and leads to the Vechte spring in Oberdarfeld. Then it goes on the Vechtetalradweg to Metelen.

Around Billerbeck

Very nice - but also partly demanding - route to Münster. At the beginning you go through many forests with some manageable inclines - but always on bike paths. You pass Tilbeck Abbey, with a very nice cafe. The route is best to drive in dry weather. At the start in Billerbeck you can park for free at the train station.

Very nice route through the Baumberge via Varlar Castle. Suitable for families and very quiet streets, field and forest paths. Few but manageable inclines. The easiest way to park is in the Aldi car park on Darfelder Strasse.
