Best wildlife trails in Bergisch Gladbach

The bike tour leads from Bergisch-Gladbach train station through the Königsforst state forest down to Rösrath and back again. In the settlement areas there are numerous restaurants and pubs that invite you to stop. From Rösrath you can also take the train back to Bergisch-Gladbach.

This route follows stage 7 of the Bergischer Weg and connects Bergisch Gladbach-Bensberg with Overath. Leaving Bensberg, the path leads through the Milchborn Valley past scenic ponds before crossing into the Königsforst forest, passing Monte Troodelöh—the highest point in Cologne—and offering distant views of Cologne Cathedral.
