Best partially-paved trails in Gifhorn

This is the route of the Südheide Marathon. Please note the StVo. It may be that some parts of this route have been specially blocked for the marathon and are now integrated again in normal traffic.

Popular bike tour in the Ostheide nature reserve, Lower Saxony. This trail runs for approximately 4 km directly along the Elbe Lateral Canal. On the way there are several restaurants not far from the route. In summer, the beach at Bernsteinsee also invites you to relax. This route follows the third stage of the Aller Bike Path and connects Gifhorn with Celle in Germany. Starting in Gifhorn—home to the International Mill Museum and the Welf Castle—the bike path follows the Aller River through the Südheide region, passing through Müden and Langlingen.
