The eco-path covers a period of more than 3000 years of cultural and regional history between Fulda and the foothills of the Reinhardswald on a scenic route with the help of information boards. The path leads past two mills on the Osterbach and over a deployment area of the Seven Years' War to Wilhelmshausen. There is the Marienbasilika, a remarkable Romanesque church. Past the Obermühle, the path leads to Bronze Age burial mounds and on through a medieval castle back to Knickhagen.
