Best hard trails in Fischbachtal

This route follows stage 6 of the Alemannenweg and connects Fischbachtal with Höchst im Odenwald. Leaving Niedernhausen, the trail ascends through dense forests to the Nonroder Höhe and passes Wersau and Brensbach. Hikers cross open farmland toward the Otzberg, an extinct volcano topped by the Veste Otzberg fortress, before continuing past Hassenroth to enjoy panoramic ridge views extending across the Odenwald toward the Katzenbuckel.
