From the entry point - the hikers' car park across from the Neideck ruins - it goes to Streitberg, to enter the Leinleitertal in Gasseldorf. Well-developed bike paths lead through a very beautiful area to Heiligenstadt. From there - in the direction of Kalteneggolsfeld - an approx. 3 km long climb has to be mastered.
