Best short trails in Sankt Oswald

The circular route is relatively easy, there are hardly any major inclines. It starts at the Taferlruck research station, where hydrological and meteorological data are collected. It goes through the forest and along streams to a clearing and a winter gate for red deer. Since the circuit leads through the Neuhüttenwiese wildlife sanctuary, it is only accessible in summer and autumn; the route is closed between December 1st and May 16th and should not be used to protect the red deer.
